Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Power System Studies Engineer for our Data Center Mission Critical Division (DCMC). The role supports projects nationwide or remote work within the US, focusing on high-availability data centers.

The engineer analyzes complex power systems, performs short circuit and coordination studies, and mentors junior engineers while engaging with clients to drive growth and deliver compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Typically requires 3+ years of experience with power system studies using electrical modeling software (SKM, ETAP, Easy Power).
• PE license or ability to obtain within 2 years of employment (incentive bonus available).
• Experience with NFPA 70/70E, IEEE 1584, ANSI standards and power systems design for data centers.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee short circuit calculations and coordination studies for data centers.
• Collect on-site data and document protective devices, settings, and system details.
• Develop and implement standards for power system studies and calculations across offices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes and standards relevant to data centers.
