Job summary

Continuum Associates LLC is seeking a Power Systems Engineer / Senior Power Systems Engineer to support electric transmission, renewable integration, and reliability studies. The role involves data analysis, modeling, and collaboration across North American teams in a fast-paced consulting environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with PSCAD/EMTDC, PSS/E, and Python; familiarity with North American ISO/RTOs and reliability standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field with power system study experience.
• 2+ years for Power Systems Engineer; 6+ years for Senior Power Systems Engineer.
• Experience with North American energy markets and U.S./Canada power sector.
• Hands-on expertise with major power system simulation packages.

Responsibilities

• Perform power system studies and data analysis for bulk transmission and distribution planning.
• Support renewable grid integration studies (solar, wind, storage).
• Develop and maintain power system models using industry-standard software.
• Prepare clear engineering reports documenting methodologies and results.
