Job summary

Sigma Technologies, Ltd. is seeking a Power Make-Ready Design Supervisor to lead a team of designers in developing make-ready designs for power utility and joint-use projects.

The role combines supervision with hands-on design work and requires experience in make-ready coordination and pole‑related standards. The ideal candidate will mentor the team, manage priorities and deadlines, ensure quality and compliance, and support project management activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of power utility make‑ready design experience.
• Direct experience with joint‑use coordination and make‑ready recommendations.
• Experience leading make‑ready designers as a team lead or supervisor.
• Working knowledge of pole attachments, pole loading concepts, and related standards.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership for a team of power make‑ready designers.
• Perform technical make‑ready design and project work.
• Establish team priorities, coordinate assignments, monitor progress and deadlines.
• Review make‑ready designs for quality, accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance on poles, attachments, and make‑ready recommendations.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Promote safety, accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Assist with process and documentation improvements.
• Coordinate cross‑functional communication and resource needs.
