DLB Associates is seeking a Power Engineering Manager to lead and grow its substation, BESS, microgrid, and grid integration services from a remote location in the United States. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, technical direction, and quality assurance across multiple utility markets.

The manager will shape practice strategy, mentor engineers, expand client relationships, and drive business development while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
15+ years of progressive power engineering experience.
5+ years in engineering management or practice leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and develop the power engineering team across substation, BESS, and grid integration disciplines.
Lead strategic planning for the Power Engineering practice in partnership with executive leadership.
Provide technical direction, mentorship, and quality oversight across all projects.
Oversee compliance with NESC, NEC, NFPA, ANSI, IEEE and utility standards.
