Job summary

DLB Associates is expanding its substation and grid integration engineering practice and seeks a Power Engineering Manager to lead, grow, and manage this service line. This role oversees technical delivery, quality, team leadership, and business development across substation, BESS, microgrid, and grid integration for utility, renewable, data center, and industrial markets.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of power engineering experience with leadership in substation, BESS, or grid integration.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required; PE license preferred.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing multi-project portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team including senior engineers across substation, BESS, and grid integration.
• Drive strategic growth, practice standards, and client relationships for the power engineering service line.
• Oversee technical quality, EOR reviews, and compliance with utility standards.
• Manage resource planning, staffing, and project delivery across multiple engagements.
• Represent the firm in industry forums and client negotiations.
