Job summary

DLB Associates is seeking a Senior Power Engineer – Physical Electrical to lead the physical electrical design of substations, switching stations, and grid integration facilities for utility, renewable, data center, and industrial markets. The role emphasizes hands-on design, coordination with civil/structural and protection teams, and ensuring code compliance.

Remote work from anywhere in the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of physical substation design and grounding.
• Proven ability to work remotely and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead physical electrical design for AIS and GIS substations and related facilities.
• Coordinate with civil/structural, protection & control teams to deliver integrated designs.
• Develop equipment layouts, grounding designs, cable routing and construction drawings.
• Support client interface, reviews, and project documentation.
