Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated POS Analyst to support deployments, configuration management, hardware implementations, and production support across the retail environment. This role works primarily overnight to align with deployment windows and conversions.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and store personnel, possess strong analytical and technical skills, and travel to Salisbury or Mooresville, NC as needed for training and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting and administering Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience with batch scripting.
• Ability to work overnight hours regularly.
• Willingness and ability to travel to Salisbury or Mooresville, NC for training and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support overnight POS code deployments and store conversions.
• Coordinate deployment schedules with internal teams and external vendors.
• Validate successful deployment of code and configuration changes; troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze and troubleshoot POS-related issues during conversions; document root causes and resolutions.
• Provide clear communication to stakeholders regarding issues, risks, and resolutions.
