Job summary

Old Republic Title seeks a Policy Typist to review, bill and finalize lender and owner title policies. The role requires hands-on policy typing experience and strong knowledge of title industry terms. This remote position must have policy typing experience in Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia and Michigan.

Ideal candidates will excel in keyboarding, document review and client communications, and can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Strong working knowledge of title information, easements, leases, legal descriptions, vesting issues, legal terminology and documents.

Responsibilities

• Review closing documents and commitments for completeness and accuracy.
• Type and review all policies offered within the department.
• Manage work queues and ensure policies are delivered within SLAs.
• Monitor files for lien clearance and receipt of funds prior to policy issuance.
• Handle internal inquiries via email or group mailbox in a timely manner.
• Resolve issues or escalate to management as needed.
• Generate and interpret reports to keep orders moving smoothly.
• Meet or exceed production goals for the role.
• Maintain professional communication with coworkers, clients and management.
• Possess flexibility to work overtime as required.
