Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Business Operations Manager for the VA Conversion Services contract.

The role focuses on improving response time to Veteran benefit requests through digitization and robust data-driven management of financial and contract data. You will lead PMO activities, develop and enforce internal and customer-facing processes, and coordinate across Contracts, Subcontracts, Finance and program offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience supporting project or program management roles with data collection, aggregation, analysis and presentation.
• Proficient in leveraging AI tools and automation to improve operational efficiency and workflows; strong Excel data management, pivot tables, charts.
• Experience with Federal Government contracting and knowledge of FAR; experience leading PMO or finance-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of PMO professionals coordinating PMO tasks.
• Document robust processes and guidance for internal and external-facing business processes.
• Engage with VA via email and Teams to provide meaningful support and responses.
• Deliver presentations to senior leadership with operational performance, insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate risk review through the program Risk Register and monthly Risk Meetings with the Customer.
• Oversee subcontract actions, supply chain purchases, VA onboarding and travel tracking tasks.
• Use judgement and data-driven methods to improve project processes and resolve performance issues.
• Manage contract deliverables to ensure high quality and on-time submissions.
• Work with enterprise data tools (OBIEE, AP Web Query, KOFAX Markview, SC360, BPM, Concur) to create an integrated financial tracker.
