Job summary

Blew & Associates, P.A. in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to lead survey teams and manage project workflows. You will oversee field crews, conduct boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews, and perform research at town, county, and state levels.

Collaboration with design and operations teams is essential to keep projects on schedule and within budget. A PLS license is required; multi-state licensure is a plus, and experience with AutoCAD or Carlson Survey is

Qualifications

• A valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is required.
• Field and office surveying experience is essential.
• Proven track record of acquiring new clients and generating revenue.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing survey crews.
• Ability to work remotely and be on call for a weekend every 3–4 months.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Carlson Survey required; Quickbase is a plus.
• Licensing in multiple states is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage survey technicians.
• Perform boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews.
• Research at town, county, and state levels.
• Evaluate surveys, field notes, maps, and aerial photos.
• Identify project constraints and plan on-time, on-budget approaches.
• Communicate daily with crew chiefs and operations.
• Collaborate with drafting, design, and operations teams for updates and revisions.
