Job summary

Blew & Associates, P.A., a national firm specializing in land surveying, engineering and environmental services, seeks a Professional Land Surveyor to lead survey teams and manage projects in Wisconsin.

You will review boundaries, easements, deeds and titles, supervise technicians, and coordinate with drafting and operations to meet schedules and budgets while pursuing new client opportunities and revenue growth.

Qualifications

Valid PLS license; multiple state licensures a plus.
Field and office land surveying experience required; attention to detail.
Proven track record of acquiring new clients and generating revenue.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to take direction and grow with the company.
Experience managing survey crews.
Self-motivated with ability to work remotely.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey; Quickbase experience a plus.
On-call for one weekend every 3–4 months.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage survey technicians; perform boundary, easement, deed and title reviews; conduct research at town, county, and state levels.
Evaluate surveys, field notes, maps and aerials to identify constraints and plan approaches to meet schedules and budgets.
Perform calculations of quantities and volumes; communicate daily with crew chiefs and operations team.
