Job summary

Hyland is seeking a Platform Architect for a remote role in the United States. You will lead strategic cloud architecture initiatives, set standards, oversee multi-cloud designs, and guide POCs to shape the company’s cloud strategy.

In this role you’ll mentor teams, collaborate with executive stakeholders to define roadmaps, assess risks, and drive adoption of best practices across platform engineering. Strong communication and hands-on cloud expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Mastery of two or more general programming languages.
• Proven ability to design enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
• Experience implementing multi-cloud architectures.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform/cloud strategy within platform engineering.
• Design and oversee multi-cloud architectures with hands-on POCs.
• Define workload deployment patterns and orchestration.
• Enforce platform standards and best practices across deployments.
• Collaborate with leadership to define cloud roadmaps and business cases.
• Assess risks and mitigate security, compliance, and operations risks.
• Evaluate and integrate new cloud technologies and tools.
• Drive continuous improvement of cloud architecture practices.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of cloud transformations.
• Share architectural insights with peers and industry.
• Act as trusted advisor leveraging best practices.
• Coach and mentor platform teams and engineers.
