Job summary

Twilio is hiring a Software Engineer, Platform Access (L2) for its Cloud Native Foundations Team. You will design, build, and operate access controls and security tooling across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with Terraform-based automation and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate developer workflows.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of professional software engineering or DevOps/platform engineering experience, with exposure to multi-cloud environments, IAM, or platform automation.

Responsibilities

• Wear the customer’s shoes to design, build, and operate automations and access tools that streamline developer workflows while keeping multi-cloud environments secure.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established patterns, testing standards and policy-as-code frameworks.
• Support multi-cloud access infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and maintain least-privilege IAM policies and automated lifecycle workflows.
• Build awareness of secure architectural practices and IAM best practices, flag security issues and technical debt to the team.
• Seek feedback and mentorship, participate in sprint planning, and grow into a more senior role.
