Job summary

Twilio is hiring a Software Engineer, Platform Access (L2) to strengthen identity, governance, and automated access control across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You’ll help design and operate IAM tooling at scale, using Terraform-based automation and AI-assisted coding to move faster.

You will work remotely with occasional in-person gatherings, grow into a senior role, and collaborate with security and platform teams while delivering secure developer access.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of software engineering or DevOps/Platform experience with multi-cloud IAM.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools to write code and automate testing.
• Hands-on with Terraform or similar IaC tools to manage cloud resources and permissions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate automations and access tools for secure multi-cloud environments.
• Participate in code reviews and follow patterns, testing standards and policy-as-code.
• Support IAM policies, identity federation, and lifecycle workflows across cloud accounts.
• Maintain observability coverage with metrics, alerts, and tracing.
