Job summary

Twilio Inc. is seeking an L2 engineer for the Cloud Native Foundations Team. This remote role focuses on identity, governance, and automated access control across AWS, Azure, and GCP, designing IAM, federation, and provisioning at scale.

You will work with Terraform-based infrastructure, perform code reviews, and help maintain observability across core data pipelines. The role supports a remote-first culture with occasional in-person gatherings and growth opportunities into senior engineering.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in software engineering or DevOps with multi-cloud exposure.
• Familiar with IAM, authentication, and least-privilege concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate automations and access tools for secure multi-cloud workflows.
• Collaborate with security leadership to turn tasks into working code.
• Participate in code reviews and follow IaC patterns and testing standards.
• Support Infra as Code (Terraform) and maintain IAM policies across accounts.
• Promote secure architectural practices and flag risks.
• Seek mentorship and grow into senior role.
