Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Engineering Technology Lead - Plant Utilities to oversee design, maintenance and optimization of plant utilities across North America. This senior, remote role reports to corporate SME and partners with EHS to ensure OSHA and NFPA 70E compliance.

You will audit facilities, develop capital projects ($1M+), present ROI cases to senior management, mentor site teams and train operators on utility systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in engineering and maintenance in heavy plant infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of Arc Flash regulations and OSHA standards for plant utilities.
• Experience managing large-scale capital projects ($1M+) and collaborating with third-party engineering firms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, design, and optimize plant infrastructure to improve reliability and energy efficiency.
• Lead electrical infrastructure strategy and Arc Flash safety programs across sites.
• Audit plant systems to identify gaps, risks and modernization opportunities.
• Develop and scope engineering projects from inception to capital approval.
• Present ROI and operational benefits to senior management to secure funding.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E and related regulations.
• Mentor maintenance and engineering teams at local plants.
