Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Engineering Technology Lead - Plant Utilities to oversee and optimize critical plant infrastructure across multiple sites, including water, air, gas, steam, and electricity. This senior, remote role partners with EHS to meet OSHA and NFPA 70E standards.

You will lead capital projects, audit systems, mentor maintenance teams, and present compelling ROI to executives while traveling 50-75%.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering and maintenance experience in large plant infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of Arc Flash regulations (NFPA 70E) and OSHA standards.
• Proven track record managing large-scale capital projects ($1M+) with external firms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize plant utility infrastructure for reliability and energy efficiency.
• Lead electrical infrastructure strategy and Arc Flash safety programs across sites.
• Audit systems to identify gaps, risks and modernization opportunities.
• Conceptualize and scope engineering projects through capital approval processes.
• Present ROI-focused funding proposals to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E standards across all utilities.
• Mentor local plant maintenance and engineering teams; train operators on equipment.
