Job summary

Amrize is hiring an Engineering Technology Lead - Plant Utilities to oversee the design, maintenance, and optimization of critical plant infrastructure across North America. The role emphasizes independent leadership, capital project development, and compelling business-case presentations to senior management.

The ideal candidate will drive reliability and energy efficiency for utilities such as water, air, gas, steam, and electricity, while ensuring OSHA and NFPA 70E compliance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering and maintenance experience with heavy plant infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of Arc Flash, NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.
• Experience managing large-scale capital projects ($1M+) and working with third-party engineering firms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and optimization of plant infrastructure for reliability and energy efficiency.
• Lead electrical infrastructure strategy and Arc Flash safety programs across sites.
• Audit plant systems to identify gaps, risks, and modernization opportunities.
• Develop projects from inception to capital approval and funding.
• Present ROI-focused proposals to senior management.
