Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director, Gift Planning for a remote US-based position. The role will lead a strategic planned giving program to drive philanthropic growth, partnering with fundraising, marketing, legal, finance, and external advisors to build a strong estate gift pipeline and ensure gifts are stewarded properly.

Responsibilities include developing fundraising strategies, marketing plans, and managing gift administration and estate settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 8 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in planned giving, major gift fundraising, or related fields.
• Proven track record in cultivating and managing donor relationships.
• Strong understanding of tax updates and charitable gift planning vehicles.
• Knowledge of estate planning concepts and donor stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies and programs.
• Create marketing and communication plans to strengthen pipeline development.
• Engage with professional advisors to build and maintain partnerships.
• Oversee gift administration and estate settlement processes.
