Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Labor and Employment Attorney for a fully remote role. The ideal candidate holds an active Arizona Bar license, can practice across the U.S., and has 3–5+ years of plaintiff-side employment litigation, including wage-hour, discrimination, retaliation, and related disputes.

You will manage matters from evaluation to resolution, draft pleadings, take depositions, attend hearings, and negotiate settlements, with a collaborative boutique environment and generous remote-friendly

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Bar license in good standing.
• Arizona residents preferred; qualified out-of-state candidates considered.
• 3–5+ years of plaintiff-side labor and employment litigation experience.
• Experience with wage-and-hour, discrimination, retaliation, harassment or leave-related matters.
• Strong motion practice, drafting and arguing substantive motions.
• Trial experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical and client management skills.
• Self-motivated, able to thrive in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment litigation matters from evaluation through resolution, including trial when necessary.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and related documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, manage written discovery, and appear at hearings.
• Represent clients during mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Develop litigation strategy and maintain regular communication with clients.
• Perform legal research and prepare persuasive advocacy for state and federal courts.
