Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Litigation Attorney for a fully remote role. The position offers $100,000 to $150,000 per year, with AZ bar eligibility and 3+ years in civil litigation. Experience in discovery, motions, and depositions is preferred.

The firm focuses on representing employees in complex labor and employment matters. The successful candidate will manage a caseload, work collaboratively with a team, and maintain high-quality work product while communicating with clients throughout the case

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Bar license in good standing is required.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably within plaintiff labor and employment.
• Strong experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential claims and assist with case assessments.
• Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, propound, and respond to written discovery.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and corporate representatives.
• Prepare matters for mediation, settlement discussions, and trial when necessary.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy and status updates.
• Collaborate with attorneys and litigation support staff to develop effective case strategies.
