Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) for the Controller Training Solutions team at the Miami ATCT in Miami, FL. The RPO will simulate pilot actions and ATC communications within a high-fidelity training environment for FAA trainees.

Responsibilities include operating the simulator, translating data into FAA phraseology, and completing classroom and lab certifications to support all positions within the training program.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret materials such as diagrams and manuals; clear verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) role in the FAA training simulator.
• Input entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions and ATC procedures.
• Translate displayed information into proper ATC terminology and respond via voice communications system.
• Complete required classroom and lab certifications to function across positions in the simulator.
