Confidential Firm in Illinois is seeking a senior Litigation Paralegal with a plaintiff personal injury focus to work fully remotely. You will collaborate with trial attorneys to move files from complaint through discovery, mediation and trial while staying ahead of deadlines and keeping files trial-ready.

• 5+ years as a litigation paralegal, with plaintiff personal injury strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Illinois civil procedure and state court e-filing.
• Hands-on trial preparation experience.
• Strong organization, with a track record of never missing a deadline.
• Clear written communication and good judgment about when to elevate.
• Proven ability to work independently and stay responsive in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, Rule 213 disclosures, subpoenas and routine motions.
• Calendar and track all deadlines under the Illinois Code of Civil Procedure, Illinois Supreme Court Rules and local rules.
• E-file and serve through eFileIL in Cook County Circuit Court and other Illinois courts.
• Request, organize and summarize medical records and bills; build damages summaries.
• Schedule and prepare for depositions, IMEs and mediations, including remote proceedings.
• Prepare trial binders, exhibit lists and witness materials, and support attorneys at trial.
• Keep clients updated on case status with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain accurate, current files in the firm’s case management system.

About the Firm

Our client is an established, growing plaintiff personal injury firm. They handle cases from pre-litigation through trial and are known for litigating files rather than just settling them. This is a confidential search; the firm will be named once there is mutual interest.

The Role

The firm needs a seasoned Litigation Paralegal who can run a caseload with minimal direction from a fully remote setup. Candidates must be based in Illinois. You'll work directly with trial attorneys to move files from complaint through discovery, mediation and trial. Staying ahead of deadlines and keeping the file trial-ready is a core part of the job.

What You'll Do

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, Rule 213 disclosures, subpoenas and routine motions
