TopDog Law is a nationally scaling personal injury firm offering a fully remote environment with Illinois-based eligibility. This role handles case evaluation, litigation, and client advocacy from intake through resolution.

Strong writing, negotiation, and research skills are essential, with 5–10 years in Personal Injury and a JD plus Illinois Bar admission. We seek an attorney located in or near Illinois who can manage a robust caseload in a fast-paced setting while upholding ethical standards

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and Illinois Bar admission required.
• 5–10 years of experience in Personal Injury law.
• Strong communication, negotiation, research and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Case Evaluation: assess merits of Personal Injury claims and determine liability and value.
• Legal Representation: file claims, gather evidence, negotiate settlements, advocate for clients.
• Legal Strategy: develop strategies, conduct research, review medical records, negotiate with insurers.
• Client Communication: keep clients informed and advise on rights and options.
• Medical/Vocational Assessment: evaluate injuries and impact on work and future treatment.
• Case Management: organize files, track deadlines, coordinate with providers and staff.
• Ethical Standards: uphold ethics and confidentiality.
