Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Wichita seeks a Physician Relations Territory Manager to lead external physician relationships and drive referral volume and financial performance for our hospital and key service lines.

You will analyze referral patterns, coordinate meetings between internal and external physicians, educate providers about academic medical center capabilities, and build lasting partnerships with practices and medical staff to advance the hospital's growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Nursing or related field.
• 3+ years of healthcare experience with providers or relevant sales/marketing experience, or 3+ years of clinical nursing.
• Preferred: 5+ years in medical/pharmaceutical/device sales.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician referral patterns to grow referrals.
• Analyze competitive landscape and changes in area healthcare services.
• Provide insights to executives related to new business opportunities.
• Coordinate meetings between internal physicians and external physician groups.
• Develop mutually beneficial relationships with physicians and medical staff.
• Manage territory resources and budget to meet goals.
• Promote hospital services and participate in education events.
• Maintain referring physician database and portal (EpicCare Link).
