Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Senior Provider Compensation Analyst to join the Compensation team. This role designs, analyzes, and manages physician and APC compensation programs, delivering strategic insights to leadership and shaping market-based recommendations.

Reporting to the Compensation Manager, the analyst partners with Finance, HR, Payroll, and clinical leaders to ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity while advancing system enhancements and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field (HR, Business, Finance, Healthcare Admin).
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in physician/provider compensation.
• Expertise in physician compensation plan design, administration, and redesign.
• Advanced healthcare financial and analytical acumen.
• Experience with FMV reviews and compensation governance processes.
• Ability to develop compensation strategy recommendations for executive leadership.
• Experience leading compensation system enhancements and technology implementations.
• Ability to establish analytical methodologies, controls, and best practices.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain physician and APC compensation plans, incentive programs, and financial models.
• Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analyses to support competitive practices.
• Create and maintain compensation reports, dashboards, audits, and reconciliations with data integrity.
• Partner with Finance, HR, Payroll, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Talent Acquisition, and physician leaders for compensation consultation.
• Support FMV, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute compliance and related regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and best practices in provider compensation.
• Provide guidance and analytical support on complex compensation initiatives and special projects.
