Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Patient Care Center of Excellence. The role supports patients, doctors and facilities via phone, data entry and prescription processing in a remote or office-based setting.

You will work with multiple software systems to manage authorizations, transfers and patient records, in a fast-paced environment that values accuracy and confidentiality. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, PTCB or NHA certification, and state registration,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or NHA) and maintain current certificate.
• Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment.
• Enter a high volume of data and process prescription information accurately.
• Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications or transfers using pharmacy software.
• Perform claim adjudication and auditing duties including prior authorizations and billing.
• Serve as liaison between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals.
