Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with state board of pharmacy required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in operational pharmacy benefits, clinic setting, high-volume call center, or retail pharmacy.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar EMR system.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephonic outreaches and answer calls regarding member's medication use and adherence.
• Place refill requests with pharmacies by phone or web systems with member consent.
• Review medication adherence gaps and medical chart notes to determine actions.
• Process pharmacy refill requests via faxes, EMR routes, or calls per protocol.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff, providers, and care teams to resolve medication-use issues.
• Ensure tasks are completed timely, documented, and HIPAA-compliant.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to quality improvements.
• Assist with other pharmacy initiatives as needed.
