Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join a team serving senior patients in a virtual environment. You will assist with medication reviews, benefits navigation, and outreach programs under supervision of the Clinical Pharmacist.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharmacy Technician registration, with 2+ years in operational pharmacy benefits or a clinic setting. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and travel to company meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with a state board of pharmacy.
• 2+ years in operational pharmacy benefits, clinic, high-volume call center, or retail pharmacy.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar EMR is preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephonic outreaches and answer calls about medication use and adherence.
• Place refill requests with pharmacies and obtain member permissions.
• Review medication adherence gaps in charts and take appropriate actions.
• Process refill requests via faxes, EMR routes, or calls per protocol.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and care teams to resolve medication-use issues.
• Ensure tasks are completed timely, documented per HIPAA and standards.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to quality improvement.
• Support pharmacy initiatives as they arise.
• Additional duties as assigned.
