Qualifications include a pharmacy technician license in TX, MO, or CA, 2+ years of experience, and strong typing skills. The position offers a flexible schedule with occasional holidays based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pharmacy technician or medical office experience.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy operations is preferred.
• Must hold active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas, Missouri, or California.

Responsibilities

• Interact with various departments to provide accurately dispensed prescriptions on a timely basis.
• Work under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintain and update inventory recap report.
• Retrieve discontinued or expired medications from stock; discard or return to stock as appropriate; complete corresponding documentation.
• Maintain prescription logs.
• Assist with the maintenance of pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs and documents maintenance.
• Comply with safety, quality assurance, accreditation, legal, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
