Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a remote, full-time Customer Service specialist to assist with prescription status inquiries and delivery coordination for providers and patients across the United States.

You will respond to calls, document data in systems, and help resolve issues with orders and payments while delivering compassionate service. Training and flexible scheduling support telecommuting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6+ months of experience in a related customer service environment using phones and computers.
• Ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport and respond compassionately.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook).
• Familiarity with Windows PC applications and learning new systems.
• Ability to work overtime during peak season (Jan–Mar).
• Full-time availability, Monday–Friday, with flexible shifts during business hours.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming calls from providers and patients on prescription status inquiries and delivery assistance.
• Ask appropriate questions and document required information in computer systems.
• Identify issues and communicate solutions for prescription orders and reorders.
• Make outbound calls to providers and patients on prescription orders and payment issues.
