AnewHealth is hiring a Remote Customer Support Specialist to handle client inquiries from members, clinicians, pharmacies, and plan sponsors with timely, accurate responses and HIPAA-compliant communications.

The role requires an Associate degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years in customer service, plus 2+ years in healthcare and pharmacy support. The position offers a 40-hour week with evening hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in a call center or similar.
• 2+ years of healthcare experience.
• 2+ years of pharmacy support experience.
• Knowledge of plan structures and Medicare guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls from clients in a professional, courteous manner with exceptional service.
• Document interactions in claims adjudication software.
• Educate clients on plan policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Resolve drug-benefit concerns of medical, financial, or technical nature.
• Initiate and facilitate prior authorization requests.
• Submit JIRA tickets for prescribed compounds and NDC issues.
• Stay current on plan benefits and Medicare guidelines.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines in all communications.
