Job summary

ConnectMed360 is hiring a Program Support Coordinator - Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment, prior authorizations, and patient assistance. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 9:30am–6:00pm AZ time, with remote work options and a $23 per hour starting wage plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus for early hires.

Responsibilities include referral coordination, insurance verification, billing, and customer service, with HIPAA compliance and close collaboration with staff

Qualifications

• Required: Customer Service
• Desired: Pharmacy terminology, billing quantity, SIG codes, brand and generic names of medication
• Proficient in data entry, verbal communication, computer skills and learning department software

Responsibilities

• Receives and coordinates all program referrals and performs savings card activations; insurance verification; test claims; prescription billing and billing error resolution; prior authorization assistance; customer service.
• Serves as primary contact for receiving calls from patients and physicians.
• Identifies and forwards clinical inquiries to Staff Pharmacists (e.g., dosing directions, adverse events, counseling).
• Documents and notes in each patient profile regarding updates and care needs.
• Maintains HIPAA patient confidentiality and handles complaints discreetly.
• Ensures prescriptions are billed in accordance with Medicare/DMEPOS, federal, state and local laws.
• Communicates program updates or obstacles to supervisor or program director.
• Demonstrates strong verbal/written communication, data entry, computer and interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
