Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, a part of The Cigna Group, seeks energetic and detail-oriented pharmacy technician associate representatives to join our team. You’ll help process and ship medications to patients who rely on us.

Shift: Mon - Fri, 8a - 5p EST. You’ll promote a positive team environment, coordinate schedules, oversee escalations, and help develop programs to improve internal and external customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years relevant experience
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration preferred
• General PC knowledge; MS Office, Internet, email required; strong Excel, PowerPoint, WebEx skills
• Excellent oral, written and phone communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
• Experience with basic dosing calculations and Excel manipulation
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to develop/assist team members; advanced problem-solving
• Ability to collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and make independent decisions
• Demonstrated ability to handle difficult conversations professionally

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive team environment and share best practices
• Coordinates schedules with RMG, ASA and workflow for the team
• Oversee and assist in complex escalations
• Assist in development of programs and process improvements to enhance customer service
• Oversee team and individual performance standards and ensure service metrics are met
• Develop, coach, and provide feedback to employees concerning quality, accountability, attendance and productivity
