Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of The Cigna Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our remote team in the United States. You will assist patients in receiving life-sustaining medications, engage with insurance companies, and coordinate with multiple departments to process prescriptions and ensure timely shipments.

The role is data-driven, detail oriented, and involves extensive computer work and phone communication.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician experience required; phone experience a plus.
• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in AZ or PA required; trainee license may be considered.
• Certification preferred; tech-savvy with good data entry and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls welcoming patients and gathering demographics; coordinate first shipment.
• Create requests and call providers/doctors offices for prescription coordination.
• Data entry focused tasks; ensure prescriptions are accurately entered into the system.
• Investigate non-clinical issues with pharmacist, doctors and other providers.
• Provide guidance to patients about medication coverage and logistics.
