Job summary
Orion Groups is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (Epic Willow) to join the Pharmacy Portfolio team, delivering essential business analysis and workflow oversight for pharmacy IT initiatives. This role translates operational needs into clear requirements and collaborates with the Pharmacy Application Owner to support implementation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Epic Willow (Pharmacy) certification required.
- 5+ years experience in pharmacy business systems analysis or related role.
- Experience with EHRs, pharmacy workflows, and interfacing systems.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Primary BA to the Pharmacy IT Application Owner; main BA for Epic and Sentri 7 Pharmacy IT Applications.
- Elicit, document, and validate requirements for pharmacy initiatives (80% inpatient / 20% ambulatory).
- Provide SME-level oversight to resolve ambiguity and surface risks/issues early.
- Collaborate with Clinical Informaticists for Epic workflows affecting ordering, verification, dispensing, and MAR/BCMA.
- Support UAT planning/execution, test scripts, defect triage, and contingency planning.
- Communicate progress to Pharmacy IT Application Owner and IT senior leadership.
