Humana Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Pharmacy Hub Operations to design, launch, and lead the hub operating model across patient access and clinical services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related clinical field.
• Active pharmacist or registered nurse license in good standing.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience in complex healthcare operations.
• Experience with benefits verification, prior authorization, appeals, patient assistance, enrollment, or reimbursement workflows.
• Experience launching or transforming an operational function, client program, or healthcare workflow.
• Strong operational acumen in workforce planning, queue management, service-level performance, quality, root‑cause analysis, and risk escalation.
• Strong executive communication and cross‑functional influence in a regulated healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Launch the hub operating model across Access and initial Clinical Operations
• Establish integrated launch workflows across teams and escalation pathways
• Partner with Implementation on requirements, testing, and go-live readiness
• Translate requirements into executable practices and staffing plans
• Lead intake, benefits verification, prior authorization support, and patient assistance
• Ensure licensure, credentialing, and scope-of-practice controls
• Represent the model in governance and client discussions
