Job summary

VytlOne seeks a Managed Care Coordinator to join our Specialty Pharmacy team. This remote role coordinates patient benefits, negotiates prior authorizations, and tracks care plans to ensure timely service. You will load insurance data, assist with claims, and maintain records with a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with patient accounts in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
• Understanding of insurance, prior authorization and patient benefits strongly preferred.
• Minimum of one year patient accounts experience.
• Computer experience mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication to interact with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform benefit investigations for each patient including major medical, Medicaid and Medicare as applicable.
• Load insurances in patient profile and drug order in the system.
• Run test claims to determine prior authorization needs and eligibility for specialty pharmacy.
• Coordinate prior authorization activities with prescriber as needed.
• Follow up with prescriber to complete PA promptly.
• Enter authorization tracking information and monitor re-authorization needs.
• Assist with rejected claims and incoming calls as assigned.
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in training programs.
