Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Services is seeking a Pharmacy Applications Administrator to oversee day-to-day administration, configuration, and optimization of pharmacy applications such as DigitalRx, Platform, SureCost, and RxBB. The role supports delivery, inventory, billing, and related workflows in a remote setting with periodic travel to headquarters and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare systems, healthcare administration, information systems, technology, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience supporting clinical systems, pharmacy technology, or related platforms in healthcare environment preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in specialty pharmacy operations, including DigitalRx systems administration and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support pharmacy, delivery, inventory, billing, and related systems enabling operations.
• Maintain technical architecture of clinical/pharmacy systems and integrations.
• Design, document, and troubleshoot APIs, interfaces, and data flows between systems and external partners.
• Analyze workflows, gather requirements, and implement scalable process improvements.
• Create and update reports, dashboards, and electronic records for data-driven decisions.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and develop Tier 1 documentation and guides.
• Perform system monitoring, patching, upgrades, and release validation with vendors.
• Support electronic prescribing access, user accounts, roles, and documentation workflows.
• Configure systems for new facilities and expansion while maintaining data standards.
• Guide users on workflows and training needs; support data conversions during mergers/acquisitions.
• Travel to facilities as needed for go-lives, training, and optimization.
