Job summary

Independent Health is seeking a Systems and Integration Manager to optimize the pharmacy management system and related technology platforms supporting specialty pharmacy operations. You will coordinate with pharmacy ops, IT, billing, vendors, and third-party providers to ensure compliant, efficient, and scalable system solutions.

The role focuses on configuring workflows, automation, EDI, 835 payments, and ongoing system enhancements while maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; four years of experience may substitute.
• Five years of experience in specialty pharmacy, healthcare IT, or with pharmacy management systems.
• Experience configuring or administering pharmacy software is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of pharmacy claims, billing, reimbursement, and payor processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business owner and expert for the pharmacy management system.
• Maintain system configuration, workflows, and user functionality; document changes.
• Coordinate with IT and vendors on upgrades, testing, and issue resolution.
• Lead transition to NCPDP F6 standards and 837/835 transactions for claims.
• Design automation, alerts, and scalable workflows to improve efficiency.
• Oversee EDI transactions, interfaced with payers, clearinghouses, and vendors.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation monitoring.
