Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Director of Clinical Systems Operations (Pharmacy) to oversee development, implementation, and operation of clinical systems supporting Pharmacy programs. The role leads a team of 11 with 4 direct reports, coordinating 50+ workflows and 10,000+ programmed communications, across Eastern or Central business hours.

Remote work option with up to 30% travel. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or IT field and 7+ years in applications or project

Qualifications

• 7+ years of applications, project management, or implementation experience.
• Previous management experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff.
• Ownership of clinical applications and clinical systems operations leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and functionality of clinical systems and programs to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide direction to business functions to ensure systems meet expectations and standard processes.
• Evaluate systems performance and implement improvements.
• Oversee implementations of new clinical systems and upgrades.
• Oversee issue investigations and resolutions for all clinical systems.
• Travel up to 30%.
