Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a pharmacist with informatics expertise to support the medication electronic health record and systems optimization. The role emphasizes clinical informatics, data analytics, and collaboration with clinicians to advance patient safety and medication workflows.

Ideal candidates will have Epic Willow certification, experience with medication records and formulary management, and the ability to translate clinical decisions into system requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed in practice state or eligible for reciprocity.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• 3 years of pharmacist experience or completion of PGY1/PGY2 residencies in informatics.
• Epic Willow certification is preferred.
• Experience with medication records, formularies, shortages, labeling, interfaces, and automated dispensing systems.

Responsibilities

• Leverages pharmacist clinical and informatics skills to support the medication electronic health record.
• Designs, evaluates, and implements new EHR build to improve practice and patient safety.
• Consults with providers and leaders to evaluate information systems.
• Supports informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
• Develops data analytics to facilitate data reviews and performance improvement.
