Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to optimize the medication electronic health record and advance safety across clinical workflows. You will act as a liaison between clinicians and informatics specialists, shaping system builds and data analytics to support evidence‑based practice.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, EPIC Willow certification, and experience with medication workflows.

Qualifications

Licensed in the state(s) of practice or eligible for reciprocity required.
EPIC Willow certification or eligible within 6 months.
Experience with pharmacy informatics systems and medication workflows.

Responsibilities

Leverages pharmacist clinical and informatics skills to support the medication EHR and serve as a liaison for clinical informatics.
Develops informatics plans, analyzes data, and designs systems to advance evidence‑based practice and safety.
Designs and implements new EHR builds to improve patient care quality and safety.
Collaborates with providers and leaders to align information systems with clinical workflows.
Supports informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
Contributes to data analytics creation for performance improvement.
Develops automated clinical rules to support patient care.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
