Banner Health is seeking a Patient Financial Services Representative in Revenue Cycle. This role coordinates billing and collection activities, works with payors and providers, and responds to patient and internal inquiries to improve financial outcomes and patient experience.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of PFS experience with collections/AR in healthcare, and familiarity with DME and Waystar is preferred. This is a remote position with equipment provided, located within eligible states.

Formación

• 1 year experience in Patient Financial Services with Collections and Accounts Receivable in healthcare revenue cycle.
• Experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and/or Waystar preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Process payments, adjustments, claims, and denials accurately and timely.
• Balance and pursue account balances and payments using payor remits and contracts.
• Research payments and denials to identify and correct discrepancies.
• Build relationships with internal teams and provider offices to educate and resolve issues.
• Respond to incoming and make outbound calls to resolve billing and accounting issues.
• Help reduce Accounts Receivable balances as part of the team.
• Document activity in systems and communicate with payors clearly.
• Work independently under supervision to reconcile accounts promptly.
