Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a PFS Insurance Follow-Up Representative (Ambulatory Denials) to support billing and denial resolution across a remote-friendly program. This role emphasizes AR tasks, appeals, and payer communications to ensure timely reimbursement.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Medical Insurance AR or Physician Fee-for-Service Billing experience and demonstrates strong Excel skills to analyze trends,Track denials, and educate internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Medical Insurance AR and/or Physician Fee-for-Service Billing.
• Minimum 1 year experience writing appeal letters for payer denials.
• Intermediate to Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate patient billing and collection activities.
• Research denials and payer remits to support accurate reimbursements.
• Prepare and submit appeals for payer denials as needed.
