Banner Health is seeking a PFS Customer Service Representative for remote Arizona-based work in the Patient Balance Management team. You will respond to patient billing inquiries, process payments and adjustments, and collaborate to resolve accounts receivable issues with care and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of healthcare-related customer service, strong communication skills, and knowledge of insurance deductibles and co-insurance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in patient financial services or healthcare finance.
• Strong communication skills; knowledge of insurance deductibles and co-insurance.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Responds to incoming calls to assist patients with billing questions and provide excellent service.
• Processes payments, adjustments, claims, refunds, denials, and payment plans accurately.
• Reconciles balances with payors and applies collection policies.
• Educates patients and internal customers on billing processes and charity applications.
• Works with walk-in patients and internal teams to reduce accounts receivable.
