Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a PFS Representative for DME Collections in a remote-capable role. You will handle patient financial services, collections and AR tasks within Banner’s revenue cycle, coordinating with payors and hospital teams to secure timely reimbursements.

Ideal candidates have around 1 year of healthcare billing/collections experience, with DME or Waystar knowledge preferred. This position offers a daytime schedule and remote work eligibility in eligible states.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• About 1 year of patient financial services - collections experience in healthcare.
• Experience with DME and/or Waystar is preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process payments, adjustments, denials, refunds and payment plans accurately.
• Balance and pursue account balances and payments with payors and internal staff.
• Research payments and denials to identify short/overpayments and corrections.
• Educate internal and external customers and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Respond to calls and provide exceptional service to patients and providers.
• Collaborate with the team to reduce accounts receivable and speed reimbursements.
• Document activities and communicate clearly with payors using systems.
• Work independently under supervision with defined procedures.
