Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Personal Lines Risk Solutions Consultant to support Prestige clients across the Georgia and Tennessee territory. This full-time, exempt role offers a fully remote arrangement with local travel to client sites as needed.

You will perform on-site risk inspections, advise on risk management, and identify cross-sell opportunities with Marine and Auto coverages, collaborating with underwriting and product teams to improve risk outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years Risk Solutions/Loss Control field experience with a personal lines national/regional insurance carrier.
• Motivated self-starter with initiative; ability to work independently
• Experience with building construction, homeowner, and marine insurance coverages, underwriting and claims
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Aptitude for numerical and/or financial evaluation
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment on multiple projects, tasks, or assignments
• Results orientation
• Strong communication skills, both oral & written

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site policy holder home inspections to evaluate risk and recommend services and solutions to mitigate risk
• Consult with policy holders on risk management services such as proactive home maintenance, disaster preparedness, security, and loss mitigation aids
• Identify cross sell opportunities for additional coverages such as Marine and Auto
• Participate in innovation pilots with the Personal Lines Product team
• Support risk management content generation by Personal Lines Marketing team
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with policyholders and agents
• Collaboration with Underwriting, Risk Solutions home office technical and field teams, PL Product, PL Claim and PL Marketing
• Participate in association and industry relations activities including attending meetings and conferences representing company
