Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Risk Solutions professional to support the Personal Lines division from a remote setting with local travel. The role focuses on risk inspections, risk management consulting, and cross-selling additional coverages such as Marine and Auto.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in risk solutions or loss control with a personal lines carrier, strong analytics, and excellent communication skills for interaction with policyholders and agents.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years Risk Solutions/Loss Control field experience with a personal lines carrier.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Experience with building construction, homeowner and marine insurance coverages.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site policy holder home inspections to evaluate risk and recommend services.
• Consult on risk management services such as maintenance, disaster preparedness, security and loss mitigation.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for Marine and Auto coverages.
• Participate in innovation pilots with Personal Lines Product team.
• Support risk management content generation by Personal Lines Marketing.
• Interact with policyholders and agents with strong interpersonal skills.
• Collaborate with Underwriting and field teams, PL Product/Claims/Marketing.
• Attend meetings and conferences representing the company.
