Job summary

Delos Insurance Solutions is seeking a Personal Lines Property Underwriter to evaluate new business and renewals, assess property risks, and support agents. This role balances disciplined risk selection with technology-driven processes in a fast-paced environment.

You will contribute to underwriting guideline development and process improvements, collaborating with Distribution and internal teams to enhance service quality. Remote-friendly with SF base and national exposure policy.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of property underwriting or related personal lines insurance experience.
• Strong understanding of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and risk selection.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate risks and apply guidelines within authority.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and underwrite new business and renewal submissions for homeowners and other residential property lines.
• Manage daily underwriting activities and system-generated tasks.
• Assess property risk characteristics according to guidelines and risk appetite.
• Identify profitable risks while minimizing adverse selection.
• Provide timely, accurate communication to agents, partners, and internal stakeholders.
